Who's a big girl

Sitting up and reading
Sitting up and playing pian and singing
Best of both worlds...food & toys

Over the past 7 months...yes that's right 7 months now and getting close to 8 where has the year gone.

Annekah can now sit up and she has taken a real affection to squealling, bashing toys (and daddy) drooling non-stop (we attribute that to teething although she is still gummy).

Annekah love's vegimite toast, all kinds of solid foods and is getting quite good at chewing on anything that comes in contact with her mouth. The other day she decided she liked the taste of Daddy's leather phone case (expensive taste of course).

A few months ago Annekah attended her first high-tea with Aunty Georgy, mummy and Grandma. She really liked the tiny silver teaspoons - oh so posh

Annekah is currently working on rolling and tummy time (no crawling yet thank goodness) it's rather good still having a stationery baby. Means I can do the washing and Ironing without wondering what mischeif she is getting up to.

First's

There are so many 'first's in her life, there are just a few
(Nappy change, day at church, smile, laugh, rolling in cot)

First Easter & Dedication

What a busy year we are having.

First was Easter and we had our own little 'Easter Bunny' and then Annekah's dedicaiton. This was such a special day. We had all the family at church, and then had a picnic afterwards. Aunty Cathy made a great Christening cake that was so scrummy and Annekah looked like a doll in her Christening gown that Grandma made her. It was also special because we had David & Leigh (Annekah's God parents). Leigh played the piano while Daddy sang during the photo presentation.

Siblings

Stephanie, Paige, Taylor-Rose

Annekah has 3 half sisters but we don't worry about the half part, they all love Annekah and she loves them. We find when they go home after the weekend she misses them terribly.

Often you find Stephanie entertaining her by reading to her or playing games, Taylor loves to sing to her and Paige loves to share her toys (even though we have to remind her that they are too small and she could choke) at least she is sharing!!!

Bassinet...seemed so big for such a little girl

First few months

Well where to begin...

After a bit of a rough start bubba girl (as Daddy calls her) has caught up very fast.
She moved from her bassinet to her big girl cot after 3.5months and into her own bedroom.
She loves to smile and laugh and move around. There just is no stopping her.
by around 4 months her colic disapeared thank goodness. No more grunting through the night.
In her tiny life so far she has travelled to the sunshine coast (Grandma & Grandads House), been to Aunty Georgy & Uncle CAmeron's engagement party & wedding & had her first Easter
